FLUX 3 Max API Pricing: $0.0608 per Second at 720p
Per-second prices at 720p and 1080p, a ready-made monthly budget table, and how FLUX 3 Max compares with Kling 3.0 Omni, Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1.
FLUX 3 Max on HiAPI is billed by the second of output: $0.0608 per second at 720p and $0.1036 at 1080p. A five-second 720p clip comes to $0.304, a five-second 1080p clip to $0.518, and resolution is the only thing that moves the rate. Native audio adds nothing to the bill.
FLUX 3 Max is live on HiAPI. Open the model page, enter a prompt and generate; new accounts get 200 credits at sign-up. Text-to-video, image-to-video and keyframes-to-video all bill at the same rates.
How much does FLUX 3 Max cost per second?
| Resolution | Per second | 5-second clip | Credits per 5s |
|---|---|---|---|
| 720p | $0.0608 | $0.304 | 608 |
| 1080p | $0.1036 | $0.518 | 1,036 |
Billing is one formula: per-second rate × duration, where duration is a whole number from 5 to 20. Resolution sets the rate, generate_audio is free either way, and failed tasks are not charged. The model page shows the same figures in credits, at 2,000 credits = $1.
What a first test costs: $10 buys about 32 five-second clips at 720p, or about 16 ten-second clips; the same $10 covers about 19 five-second clips at 1080p. That is enough to take one prompt through several rounds of camera and pacing changes. Run your first clip on the model page →
What does a month of clips cost?
At 720p with five-second clips:
| Clips per month | Cost |
|---|---|
| 100 | $30.40 |
| 1,000 | $304 |

Three clips a day is 90 a month, under $30.40. A feed of 1,000 clips runs about $304. For 1080p, multiply each clip's duration by $0.1036.

- Use the full duration.

generate_audiodefaults to true, so ambience, dialogue and effects arrive with the picture at no extra cost. Turn it off when you plan to score the clip later. - Submit each task once. Poll with the returned

The prompt below is written for five seconds, 16:9 and 720p: one continuous morning shot in a bakery.
A single continuous five-second shot inside a small bakery at dawn. A baker in a flour-dusted apron slides a tray of croissants into a deck oven and closes the door with a soft push. Warm oven light spills across stainless steel, steam curls upward, and the camera slowly pushes in from a medium shot to a close-up on the golden crust. Shallow depth of field, gentle handheld micro-movement, warm amber palette, realistic textures. Ambient sound: the oven door clunk, a low kitchen hum, faint morning street noise outside.
Generate with this prompt →, then set the resolution to 720p, the aspect ratio to 16:9 and the duration to 5 seconds.

FAQ
What can I do with the 200 credits? They are worth about $0.10, less than a five-second 720p clip at $0.304. Top up and the model page is ready to generate; the balance and the charge for each clip are visible in the dashboard.
Is it cheaper with the audio off?
No. generate_audio only decides whether the clip has sound; the rate is set by resolution and duration.
Am I charged for failed generations? No. Failed tasks are not billed.
Can I start at 720p and switch to 1080p later?
Yes. Every task is billed on its own, and the prompt, aspect ratio and duration carry over; change resolution only.
