The Style Spectrum of Virtual Try-On: From Photorealistic to Flat Illustration

Built on the image-to-image virtual try-on capability of fashn-tryon-v1.6, this demonstrates how the same garment appears along a style spectrum of "photorealistic photography → semi-realistic → flat illustration" under different character reference images. The character image supplies not only body shape and pose but also the rendering vocabulary of the entire output; the garment image determines the fidelity of fabric, pattern, and silhouette details. The work illustrates this with two input combinations: when the character image is a realistic studio shot and the garment image is a flat-lay product photo, the model outputs an on-body result suitable for e-commerce detail pages; when the character image is replaced with a flat illustration style, the same garment is redrawn into an illustrated context, suited to concept drafts, stylized lookbooks, and visual exploration. On the input side, optional parameters such as v1.6's quality mode and garment category are retained, letting developers trade off between speed and precision.
