FLUX.2 klein 9B Single-Image Portrait Style Repaint
Built on the single-reference-image editing capability of FLUX.2 [klein] 9B, this demonstrates the controllable shift of the same portrait reference image from realistic to artistic under different prompts. The schema only allows one reference image, so the core variable of the work is the prompt: the base retains aspect_ratio and output_format, and num_inference_steps is fixed within the step-distillation range of 4–8, taking the default of 4 steps, corresponding to the low-step inference characteristic described in the model card. In assets, only one reference portrait is generated and bound to image_urls[0], avoiding any fabricated media addresses. It is suitable for evaluating prompt-writing approaches for reference-image editing, constructing baseline samples for portrait style transfer, or serving as a minimal runnable input example for developers integrating the image-to-image pipeline.

Prompt
Edit the reference portrait into a cinematic magazine editorial shot: keep the subject's facial identity, pose, and composition unchanged, relight with soft directional window light from the left, add soft falloff and subtle rim highlights on the hair, shift the color grading toward warm neutral skin tones with cool-toned shadow accents, clean the background into a softly blurred dark studio wall, retain realistic skin texture and pores, 85mm portrait lens effect, shallow depth of field, high detail, 16:9 composition.
Copy the full prompt and adapt it for your own generation.
