Keyframe Storyboard Concept: Turning Text into Visuals
This work uses the FLUX 3 Max image-to-video pipeline to demonstrate the storyboard concept flow of "text → key visuals → continuous shots": first, three keyframes lock down the beginning, turning point, and conclusion of the same scene along the timeline, then the model fills in camera movement and pacing between the keyframes to generate a short clip with synchronized audio. In terms of input structure, the keyframes array carries still frames with frame_index (positioned on a 24fps timeline), the prompt describes scene progression and shot intent, and duration, resolution, aspect_ratio, generate_audio, and reasoning_level control length, frame size, and reasoning intensity. It is suitable for quickly validating storyboard composition, transition logic, and narrative pacing before formal shooting or long-form generation. FLUX 3 Max is powered by image-to-video capability, and public information says its generation latency for roughly 10-second, 720p clips is relatively low, making it easy to repeatedly adjust keyframes and prompts under the same concept for rapid iteration; for complex scenes, more detailed prompts are recommended, with output validated round by round.

Prompt
A three-beat storyboard sequence, transformed into motion footage. Shot 1: at blue hour, a lone figure in a long coat stands at the edge of a rain-soaked city rooftop, static wide shot, neon lights reflecting on the wet concrete. Shot 2: a slow push-in, the figure turns toward the skyline, very shallow depth of field, drifting mist and fine rain, with a slight handheld shake. Shot 3: the camera rises into a crane movement, revealing the densely lit city below, the figure appearing small in frame, cool cyan tones contrasting with warm sodium lights. All beats maintain consistent lighting and color grading, cinematic 2.39:1 composition, film grain, smooth and continuous pacing, with natural motion blur.
