Per-second prices for Turbo text-to-video and image-to-video, a 3–15 second budget table, and how Turbo compares with standard Kling 3.0 and Omni.

- $0.13
- 1080p / s
- $0.16
- 5 s at 720p
- $0.65
TL;DR
- Kling 3.0 Turbo is the fast tier of Kuaishou's Kling 3.0. On HiAPI it's billed per second of video: $0.13 at 720p and $0.16 at 1080p, the same for text-to-video (
kling-3.0-turbo/text-to-video) and image-to-video (kling-3.0-turbo/image-to-video). A 5-second 720p clip is $0.65. - Clips run any whole number of seconds from 3 to 15. Every clip comes with sound, and there's no switch to turn it off. There's no 4K; for that, use standard Kling 3.0 or Omni.
- $10 buys about 76 seconds at 720p, roughly fifteen 5-second clips. Turbo is live on HiAPI: open the model page and generate in the browser. New accounts get 200 free credits.
Price table
| Resolution | Per second | 3 s (minimum) | 5 s | 10 s | 15 s (maximum) |

Live HiAPI prices, checked October 18, 2026. Text-to-video and image-to-video cost the same, and sound is included.
Failed tasks are refunded. Prompt length, aspect ratio and the first-frame image don't change the price; only resolution and seconds do.

What this means:
- Turbo isn't the cheapest per second. Silent 720p on standard Kling 3.0 or Omni is $0.10. Turbo's $0.13 buys faster generation, with sound already included.
- If you want sound, Turbo usually costs less. Standard with sound is $0.143 at 720p and $0.193 at 1080p, and Omni with sound is $0.1645 at 1080p, all above Turbo. The one exception is Omni 720p with sound at $0.129, $0.001 a second below Turbo.
- Need silent output, 4K, a last frame or reference images? Turbo's sound can't be switched off, and it doesn't take the other fields. Use standard Kling 3.0 or Omni; see Kling 3.0 API pricing and Kling 3.0 Omni API pricing.
Monthly budget
Clips per month × seconds × rate:
| Workload | Seconds / month | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 clips × 5 s | 500 | $65 | $80 |
| 300 clips × 5 s | 1,500 | $195 | $240 |
| 100 clips × 15 s | 1,500 | $195 | $240 |
Ways to spend less
- Probe at 3 seconds, 720p: $0.39 per try. Lock the motion, then re-run at the length the cut needs.
- Set
durationon purpose: it defaults to 5, and cost scales linearly up to 15. - Keep 720p for anything that plays on a phone: 1080p costs 23% more per second.
- Use image-to-video to continue a shot: feed the last frame of one clip as the first frame of the next instead of generating a long take.
FAQ
Is Turbo cheaper than Kling 3.0?
Per second, no: silent 720p standard is $0.10 versus Turbo's $0.13. But Turbo includes sound, and against standard with sound on ($0.143 at 720p, $0.193 at 1080p) it costs less.
Does Turbo generate sound? Can it do 4K?
It generates sound, and you can't turn it off. We ran a 3-second 720p text-to-video clip ($0.39) and it came back with a stereo audio track, like both examples on the model page. There's no sound field: Turbo takes prompt, duration, resolution (720p or 1080p), and aspect_ratio on text-to-video or exactly one image_urls entry on image-to-video. Other fields return HTTP 400. No 4K: only 720p and 1080p.
What durations are allowed?
Any whole number from 3 to 15 seconds.
Am I charged for failed tasks?
No. You pay only for clips that generate successfully.
If 5 or 10 seconds is enough and you want a lower price, see Kling 2.5 Turbo API pricing: $0.06 per second, with audio on text-to-video too.
Code is in the Turbo text-to-video guide and the Turbo image-to-video guide, and ready-made prompts in the text-to-video and image-to-video recipes. Or copy the fjord prompt and generate a 3-second test for $0.39.
