Art Illustration Style Spectrum: The Same Composition from Realistic to Flat

Using the same subject and composition description, a style spectrum is run on Nano-Banana-2-Lite, from thick-paint realism to minimalist flat illustration, to verify how stably this model follows instructions along the "style" dimension. The work uses a thick-paint realistic reference image as the style anchor and structural baseline, then pushes it toward a flattened, vector-feeling illustration expression through a single prompt, observing whether the model still holds the subject's silhouette and compositional center of gravity while flattening volume, reducing detail, and reorganizing color blocks. In terms of composition, the reference material takes on the input role of "image structure and light-and-shadow tonality," while the top-level prompt is only responsible for the style-transfer instruction and output aspect ratio. Separating the two makes it easy for developers to swap in reference images for batch stylized output. It is suitable for quickly setting the tone of concept sketches, for early-stage style selection for multi-size social media images, and for series content production that needs the same subject to stay visually consistent across multiple images. This model is positioned as an efficiency-first lightweight tier, suited to running this kind of style trial and error through a first draft in a high-frequency iteration pipeline before manually refining details.
